Terms & refunds.
The terms you buy under, and exactly where we stand on refunds for a file that is delivered the moment you pay.
These terms apply to the Embroidery Pricing Toolkit and to this website. CodesRun is a trading name of CODESRUN LTD. By buying or using a CodesRun tool, you accept them.
Last updated . In a hurry? The refund position is in cancellation and refunds.
What you are buying
The Embroidery Pricing Toolkit is a one-time purchase of digital content. You download three files — an offline HTML quote-check tool, an Excel workbook, and a START-HERE guide — and they are yours to keep and use.
There is no subscription, no account, no login and no recurring charge. Nothing is shipped to you; the toolkit is delivered as a download.
To use it you need a computer with a modern web browser, and — for the workbook — a spreadsheet application that opens .xlsx files. The price and currency are the ones shown at checkout on the platform you buy from.
The current release is version 0.7.2.
What you may and may not do with it
You may use the toolkit in your own business, on the computers you and your staff work on. You may keep backup copies, change every shop setting, and save your own copies of the workbook. The quotes and figures you produce with it are yours.
You may not resell, share, publish, upload or give away the files or any part of them; include them in another product, bundle, course or service offered to other people; remove the workbook protection in order to redistribute the pricing model; or present the toolkit or its model as your own work.
The files and the pricing model remain the intellectual property of CODESRUN LTD. Your licence covers one business.
Cancellation and refunds
The toolkit is digital content delivered immediately as a download. When you buy it and the download begins, you are asking for that delivery to start straight away.
Because the files are delivered at once and cannot be returned, we do not refund a change of mind.
That includes deciding not to use the toolkit, buying it by mistake, or buying it for a business you no longer run.
When we will put it right or refund you
- A file is corrupted, incomplete, or will not open.
- The toolkit is materially not as described on this site or on the listing you bought from.
- You were charged more than once for the same order.
Contact us within 30 days of purchase with your order number and the product name, and tell us what happened — which file, and what your computer showed. We will normally reply with a fix, a replacement file, or a refund.
A result you disagree with is not a fault
The toolkit reports what your own figures imply. Two shops entering different costs will and should see different numbers. A target price you did not expect is a reason to check your inputs, not evidence that the file is faulty — see not pricing advice below.
Your legal rights are not affected
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content sold to a consumer must be of satisfactory quality, fit for its purpose and as described. Where it is not, you are entitled to a repair or replacement and, where that is not possible, to a price reduction. Nothing on this page limits those rights, and they are not cut off by the 30-day window above, which is our own service commitment rather than a limit on the law.
If you bought through Etsy
The toolkit is currently sold through Etsy rather than directly from this site. That platform took your payment and holds your order, and its own policies apply alongside these terms. Open the order there and message the seller, so your request is attached to the purchase. You are welcome to email us as well.
Not pricing, financial or professional advice
The toolkit is decision support. It is not pricing, financial, accounting, tax or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for professional advice about your business.
Every number it produces comes from the figures you enter. Change the labor rate, the monthly operating costs, the machine speed or the concurrent capacity and the results change with them. The toolkit cannot check whether those figures are accurate.
It does not tell you the correct market price for embroidery, and it makes no promise about profit, sales, or the prices your customers will accept.
The model deliberately leaves some things out, including thread colour changes, rejects and remakes, rush fees, artwork revisions and shipping. These limits are listed on the product page and in the included guide.
The prices you quote to your customers are your decision and your responsibility.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Beyond that, and so far as the law allows: we are not liable for lost profit, lost business, lost contracts or lost savings arising from a price you set using the toolkit, and our total liability for any claim connected with it is limited to the amount you paid for it.
We do not claim the toolkit is free of every error. We do test it — the build runs the engine assertions, cross-checks the workbook against the same model, and verifies the files that actually ship — and we will correct defects you report to us.
Versions and updates
You are buying a specific version, currently v0.7.2.
If we publish a correction to a defect in the version you bought, you can have it at no extra cost — contact us with your order number.
We may release later versions with new features and price them separately. Buying one version does not entitle you to future ones.
We may stop selling a tool at any time. That does not affect your right to keep using a copy you have already bought.
Your data
This website has no accounts, no sign-up, no contact form, no analytics and no advertising or tracking cookies. It is a set of static pages.
The HTML tool runs entirely on your own computer. It works with no internet connection and sends none of your pricing figures to us or to anyone else. If you press Save settings on this device, those settings stay in that browser’s local storage, on that computer. The workbook is an ordinary spreadsheet file that you save yourself.
When you buy, the platform taking your payment handles your order and payment details under its own privacy policy. We see only what that platform shows a seller about an order; we never receive your card details.
If you email us, we keep your message and order details for as long as we need them to deal with your request and to keep our business records.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to a purchase is the one published on this page at the time of that purchase, and the date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protection of any mandatory rules of your own country’s law, and you may be able to bring proceedings there.
